Sylvite Agri-Services Opens New Building at Putnam

May 26th, 2008

Sylvite Agri-Services is pleased to announce that we will be starting the final phase of construction on our "Storage and Handle" expansion project.

The first phase was the construction of our 120 ft x 200 ft Cover-All Building at Putnam Ontario, which was completed in November 2007. The second phase was to add an additional 610 ft of rail siding. This was completed in December 2007.

The third and final phase of this project will be the addition of handling equipment which will allow Sylvite Agri-Services to off-load and load rail cars and trucks as well as charge and discharge the building. Completion of this last phase is targeted for July 2008.

With these additions, Agri-Services will have complete flexibility of the rail for any dry bulk material requiring transshipment or receiving. The additional storage space of up to 10,000 tonnes provided by the Cover-All increase our dry storage at Putnam to over 100,000 tonnes. The expanded rail siding further enhances our flexibility and provides additional track storage on-site for when we receive multi-car train units.

Sylvite Agri-Services is also pleased to announce that in conjunction with this additional capacity, we have entered into a long-term agreement with The Ontario Wheat Producer's Marketing Board to receive, store and ship wheat on their behalf from our Putnam location.
